I have a gmg pellet smoker
I have a weber genises is propane bbq
I cook outside with one of my grills at least 3 times a week year round. On my smoker I will do brisket, pork shoulder, lamb and sasauge, will also smoke peppers, tomatoes and do bbq beans. In my weber steaks, and rotisserie chicken. Last time I made sasauge a buddy came over and helped, we split the sasauge he took his home I told him how to hang it and smoke it. So , I made my sasauge it was great as usual. 2 weeks later he brought me a chunk of his sasauge. It was better. How can this be? He's new, I've beed doing it longer and it's my recipe. He uses a offset smoker and you could task the difference. My question is. Can I get more smoke flavor with my pelt smoker or do I need to buy a offset smoker. I love to cook and make sasauge. Meat is a true passion for me. Sometimes I will smoke a meat for hours then put a finish sear on it in my weber. So the idea of having another source of cooking is fine. The Gmg pellet smoker is great as I can start meat and go to bed, but I do enjoy babysitting my cooking projects. Looking for ideas. I want more some flavor, not overpowering.
