As an early Christmas present I received a Masterbuilt 40. Today I had a chance to break it in using a 22# turkey, red potatoes, and my first fatty. Turkey was brined for three days. Potatoes where covered with evoo and seasoning, smoked, then cut and pan seared in bacon grease with onion then tossed with the bacon romano cheese and a packet of ranch dip mix. The fatty was mild italian sausage stuffed with purple onion, bell pepper, baby portabella shrooms, mozzarella, romano, ham, and marinara sauce. Qviews follow

That's looking great! Nice break in smoke in your new smoker! Next time though we'll need pics of them taters and a sliced shot of that great looking fatty!

This was the best goobler that I have ever smoked. My sister and I only eat smoked turkey, baked and fried dry the bird and ruin the turkey flavor. I am most proud to say that I taught my nephew how to roll and smoke a fatty.

Hey! The turkey and Fatty looked great , but I kinda wanted to be invited
