Greetings from California!

Hi! I'm Jeff, but my friends call me Mango. Been smoking for many years, but really only started getting good in about the last 2 years with the purchase of my Brinkmann Electric Gourmet Smoker. I really like how easy it makes things by staying at a steady temp.


We've lived in San Diego for the last 3 years, but I'm retiring from the military next summer, and plan on moving back east, or wherever it is where I can find a job.


I've done a lot of ribs on the red bullet, and quite a few tri-tips, which are fairly easy to find here in Cali. I finally got the nerve to do a pulled pork a couple months ago, and couldn't have pulled it off (pun intended!) if not for the advice I found here.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
