Hi everyone.  I have been reading the forums for the last few days.  I subscribed to the 5 day e-course about a week ago.  I ordered the Smoking Meat book and have already read most of it.  I am looking to purchase a smoker.  Right now I am leaning towards the MES 30".  Still undecided if I want the window or not.  When I make a choice I will let everyone know.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy, windy and warm day in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything .

I picked up a MES 30" with window. I used it to smoke a chicken and ribs yesterday. Both came out great. Now I am looking at purchasing a Maverick ET-733 to get a more precise read of my temperatures.
