I used about 7 lbs of chuck roast (got a good deal on sale), 2 lbs of sausage and some backwoods seasoning and cure that I got from rural king and I added a little spicy jerky seasoning and smoked it with some maple,hickory and cherry mix pellets.
I've been using my jerky shooter to stuff the sausages I've been making lately and it takes forever! So I told the old lady Santa need to bring me a 5lb Lem sausage stuffer.
I think they turned out great for a first time making the sticks next time though I'll make a lil more spicy with possibly cheese. I also converted my gas smoker to electric ( you can see the element in the bottom and can still use with either) but I was gonna put that in another thread
