15 lb bird slathered with butter, paprika, and spog. Took about 7 hrs then I put it under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp it. Meal included stuffing, green bean casserole, squash, mashed taters, cranberry sauce, and of coarse when smoking a turkey you also have to have chef Jimmy's smokey gravy.

Too much smoke??? Lol

Looks like a very fine meal.  Your post made me smile.  I have been in England now for almost 15 years.  It has been about that long since I had green bean casserole.  It was never my favorite dish but is funny what you miss when away from home.  Thanks for posting.  Good looking bird.  Keep Smokin!

Thanks guys, it was a tasty, juicy bird. Smoked it with a hickory and cherry combo.
