First time smoker

Thread Starter
Greetings from Henrico Virginia

I enjoying grilling but want to get into smoking. My preference is to use an electric smoker and while don't have a budget per say but do not want to spend 1K on a smoker but don't want to waste $300 on a smoker that won't maintain consistent temperature or fall apart after 3 years.

The Smoke-it brand fits my budget but I wonder if it's more valuable to go with a Cookshack or another brand.

It's my holiday gift so I gotta make it count. Please help

Welcome!! I have a masterbuilt smoker or in other words MES and I love it so far. They are pretty cheap on amazon. I'm still learning on how to use mine but I'm loving it so far! Smoking meat is the way to go!
