ha-ha Disco you're funny!  No tears just try it before you knock it.  Trust your ole buddy Josie - I wouldn't tell you to try it if I didn't think it was awesome.  All the pickle juice does is makes that Jameson go down nice and smoooooooth!   Thanks for the points woo-hoo!

Well, I tried to try it. I poured the whiskey (a slightly higher grade called Redbreast) and reached for the pickle juice. My hand started to shake and the war cries of prior generations of Farrell's going back to the battle of Clontarf (1014 BC) echoed in my ears. Sorry, I just couldn't do it.
