It is that time of year again. What are you going to be smoking, grilling or stewing for Thanksgiving? Remember to post your Qviews in the correct section as well as here so that they will be searchable later. Lets have some fun.

Happy smoken.

I will be doing the Turkey smoked, I get the restaurant style breast with wings ( no thighs or legs) makes it easier smoking.

Smoked baked potato casserole and marlboro smoked baked beans. Not doing the usual smoked turkey this year.

BUT, smoked kielbasa will be in the stuffing.  Everyone in the family and guests thought it was the best stuffing they had ever had last year.

Nothing, I no longer do holiday cooking. Its all the next generations time to enjoy cooking! Seriously, the kids kids have kids around here so they should enjoy making those memories we all have by now. What fun is it if you have no good blunders to laugh about. Its about family. They need to make some memories, lord knows I have enough stories floating around the kitchen already. I won't tell any, but some have grown over the years to monsterous proportions. LOL

Its their time to have fun. I play around all year, they can do the holidays.

You seem to have omitted the ability to vote for turkey in your poll.
As for me, I'm thinking about a turducken. Or possibly a variation, combining all three meats in individual portions. Haven't really decided yet.

I want to know, will there be doggie bags, go boxes, or care packages of that keilbasa for us when or if we leave?

Since dinner is at the in-laws this year the wife (don't tell her I was too!) was concerned that we wouldn't get any leftovers. So I will be smoking something after all! Picked up  a 5 pound bone on turkey breast. I'll smoke the day after or that Saturday! Just in time for turkey sandwees!

Thanksgiving without leftovers is like Christmas without presents.

I will be at the parents for a family get together and being a single guy they usually don't expect me to cook anything. I think I am going to make some smoked almonds and smoked eggs as some appetizers though.

Make fully loaded smoked deviled eggs! Crumbled bacon chives, grated cheddar so good!

Agreed! This is the first time we haven't been asked to cook. I usually do the bird and my wife always does stuffing and a veggie side. All we were asked to bring were rolls and an apple pie. My wife will mKe two apples pies so we have some of those leftovers!!!

I'll be smoking a turkey in the morning; then I'll probably have to go to work...

I'm usually off on Thursdays but my daughters high school always had a preseason soccer tourney the weekend after turkey day so I will prob work on thanksgiving!

If we win our first two games and this other team wins theirs it'll be a rematch from the state championship game!!! I can't wait...

I don't know why It left turkey out of the voting. I tried to go back and fix that as well as add another catagory. Maybe a Moderator will fix that for me.

Happy smoken.
