I bought a stuffer and grinder wanna try some snack sticks so I bought a pepper and garlic hi mountain kit. Is this a good kit or will it be crap? The part in a little confused about is what to use for the meat it doesn't recommend anything really I know everyone's got a personal taste. Any recommendations? I don't have and deer right now so just beef and pork not sure on ratio? Please let me know your thoughts and comments and help please. Thanks a lot looking forward to the replies!!

thanks alot for the reply

i am new to this whole thing so just to clarify what is 80/20 beef?

i guess there is no set recipe and maybe this why i am confused every recipe i look at is way different from the next

Thats why i got the hi mountain kit and I am searching the net now and some people say its all they buy and others say its terrible but in the kit theres no recommendation of ratio or meat to use so ya it could be good or bad.  I thought this would be good way to just start off

but not sure now

thanks alot guys let me know
