Greetings From Southern Maryland

Thread Starter

I've been a smoke BBQer for a long time.  I've been using 2 smokers, an  old Weber bullet with a BBQ Guru PartyQ to regulate temperature (it's awesome) and a Traeger Texas 075 pellet smoker/grill.  I just sold the Traeger as I didn't use it that much and am looking for a used Cookshack Amerique or SM055 for the longer smokes.

I'm also a bluegrass musician and love to sing and play bass fiddle, banjo and guitar (not all at the same time) :icon_lol: Bluegrass and barbeque go well together as well as beer and bib overalls :)  Quad B or B4  Beer.gif

I have a lot of fond memories about East Texas.  A good ole Army buddy of mine was an oil well roustabout and brahma bull rider from Gladewater

Welcome from Canada, Steppye.

It will be good to have another experienced smoker on the forums to swap ideas and lies stories with. Also, if you do a video of some smoking, sounds like there will be some great background music.

I look forward to your posts.

Steppye,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.
Always remember the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask!!
Keep Smokin!!!
