Smoking Fanatic
I just reread your post .I saw you had already applied a application of oil, it looks great Nice job. jted
Yes. the top two thirds is bare cedar, wanted it to breath a little. I thought on an all metal interior build, but that to me isnt a smoke house. Traditionally they were wood, so I tried to be at least a little traditional!
Looking really nice. I would love to have it in my back yard.
Did you only insulate the lower portion where the heat source is?
There are likely other places to find it locally, but I got it here http://stores.ebay.ca/wovenwiremesh/5-Mesh-/_i.html?_fsub=11522066018
Hi Blade , just quick question
Racks you spoke of I found but are you able to cut them to fit ??? I need a 20x 18-1:2 not 20 and that's all I found . If I could cut them with a grinder and not loose any support framing or members I'll pick'em up
Sausage maker has the correct size but are 8 more Eack I'll need 6-8
Thanks and Awesome Build , real professional !!!!
The link I posted are not racks. The link is for stainless steel mesh. I will be building frames for the racks out of red oak. (for strength) and attaching the mesh to the oak frame. There are likely other places to find it locally, but I got it here http://stores.ebay.ca/wovenwiremesh/5-Mesh-/_i.html?_fsub=11522066018
