Hello from Alabama

Thread Starter
Hi everyone. I'm not a rookie but I'm not a pro. I've never gotten better than second place at backyard events. I live in Gaylesville Alabama. I am currently using an Oklahoma. Joes smoker. I'll smoke anything at least once and maybe twice to make sure I really screwed it up:) I use Royal Oak charcoal and wild cherry for smoke. Though I will occasionally use apple, maple, hickory, and sassafras.

Welcome to the board! You'll find lots of information about methods, woods, recipes, etc. You can see what has worked for other people - or what failed.
