I'm not sure there is a prouder moment in a dad's life than when your son eats his first bacon. He hasn't been much of a meat eater so I can't say how proud I am. Thought I'd share the proud moment.

If my mom photo shopped bacon it could fool me but if I did it, I'd know it was a lie. But probably true about not having cameras around all the time. I'll clean up some of the language in the email and just tell her I'm disappointed in her. Lol!

Cool !!! Here is a story for you, I use to my grandson to a local breakfast buffet. He has always loved bacon, (still does) he would load up his plate with bacon and ask for coffee, even when he was very young, one of the ladies a couple of times told him that if kept drinking coffee and eating all that bacon he wouldn't grow to be be very big, we just laughed and said his daddy is 6' 2' and 280 and he ate the same thing. Grandson is now 17 6'1" ans wears a 13 shoe

Reminds me of the first time my granddaughter tasted sweet tea. One sip and she did a like "whoa" did a double take then drank the glass. It was like "where have you been all my life"?

Bacon is a good start.
It's funny to hear some stories from the others about and the foods their kids eat. We've had a tough time with food with this boy, and it just makes me so happy that he's eating more and trying new foods. Great replies everyone. Thanks!
I was so happy yesterday that my two year old ate peas, and then green beans for dinner with his pulled pork. I despaired of him eat green veggies haha :)
