First Baby Backs, lots of QVu !

Thanks in advance to all of you who have shared your methods. :beercheer:     I've learned much and hope to make good use of what you've passed on.

9:15 a.m.   Rubbed my meat. Into the fridge for 4

Gonna do the ribs, beans and stuffed peppers for my Lady. ( I normally don't eat green peps but bet I do these ha ).

Mostly following Dutch's recipe for the beans but gotta leave the pineapple out as a concession to the Queen.,

Running a MFVS, going for 220*. Blend of hickory / apple chips and Sunny D in the water pan.

Ribs will follow 3-2-1 with a lil sauce in last 30 minutes or so.  Trying a new experiment with the sauce, hope I don't FUBAR it. Plan to drop a red and a green pepper in the blender - light chop then add to sauce on stove, bring to a simmer to mesh the flavors then a shooter of Kraken spiced rum.  How can rum be a bad thing? :pot:

Thank ya much 5.  15 minutes until foil pullin' time and smear a lil of the sauce on.  Sauce is tasting real nice. Thinking it's gonna be a successful smoke. End product pics a little later in the evening.

As always, wishing internet would allow us to share the product not just the pics. How cool would that be?

Whewwww...... have to loosen my belt a couple notches.  Everything came out pretty good. Give myself a B+

Expected a bit more smoky saturation of the meat and coulda been cooked another 45 to an hour. Still, almost fallin' off the bone, sauce came out awesome, no complaints from the Queen or our G Baby ( she had the Octodog plate - thanks for that idea DS ! )

Here's the finisher pics.....

Smoked peppers are for tomorrow nights dinner.  Ribs, rice, C.O.C., smoked beans, and Hot Kelly's potato salad served with the mandatory Sammy Adam's Boston Lager.

Great day of Chef'n with a fine meal to cap it off.

In the words of the Dos Equis guy...."Stay smokey my friend !"

Awesome looking meal....now I'm hungry!  I haven't made my munchies yet because I have been watching football.  After looking at your meal - it's time to go and raid my fridge!  Be Blessed and keep on smoking... Josie

Everything looks real good, Smoked A.  I would have put the bean pan under the ribs, but your way is a little more health conscious.
