Relatively new smoker located in Eastern NC. Found this forum looking for ways to smoke bacon. I've got one successful batch made using Pop's Brine and have another batch currently in the smoker. Working with an El Cheapo right now, but looking to upgrade to an electric, just got to convince the wife :) Most "smoking" I've done in the past has been more of indirect grilling than actual smoking. Just browsing through the forum, I've already found a lot of things I want to try. Favorite things to smoke are beef ribs, brisket and bacon.
