Hey all. I am new to this forum, but have looked at iposts for a while. I recently purchased an electric smoker, and am having a great time smoking meat. Lots to learn.

I als have the hobby of building rat rods. I am just starting a rat with a 1948 International pickup cab on a 91 S-10 frame. Now the fun part. I have a large old steel tank that I plan to mount on the truck to make it look like a little tanker. I plan to make the tank into a BBQ and Smoker. I think when it is done, I might be invited to more BBQ's!

I am looking forward to learning from the best on how to build the smoker. :yahoo:

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy, cool with a slight chance of rain East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Cool idea on the smoker, can't wait to see pictures
