Tullahoma Tn.
My name is Steve Gibson a newbie in the world of smoking and loving every second of it. I have been smoking on a Master Built electric smoker I got from a yard sale for $50.00 lol. I smoked on our for a month and a half reading everything I could get my hands on watching every video I could find. I am a smoking addict lol. I have just purchased a new Master Built XL. I'm gonna put it together and do every mod I have been reading. Can't wait to post some pics of the finished product!! Great to be a part pic the group.

Welcome Steve to SMF!  I first learned to fly several decades ago at that little airport in Tullahoma when I was attending Vandy on the Navy's dime.

Glad you found the group and the smoking bug that has bitten you so hard.  It is amazing how much fun it is to research smokers, techniques, mods, and recipes.  It sounds like that's just what you've been doing.  You know you've got it bad as you are eating one smoke you're already thinking about what to smoke next.  I speak from experience.  Heck, today I used a Home Depot gift card I'd received at work to go buy 3 18 lb bags of wood chunks I can't get locally (hickory and cherry) and a new reciprocating saw and blades to cut white oak I have aging into fist sized chunks I can use in my smoker.  The only cure for this obsession is to smoke every chance you get.

Have fun with your new addictions and be sure to post pics of your table offerings.  We love pics!
