I am a newbie on here and am trying to find information for another friend, although I do hope to build a smoker in the next year or so. I am a retired Power Lineman and currently working part time in a major chain hardware store. I also volunteer at the VA hospital frequently.

I do not know much about the smokers, but am seriously curious about the TD4 (I earlier mistakenly ask about the TA4 that was being discussed). I need to know if it is workable on 220 voltage. I am very knowledgable about electrical items but this one has thrown me for a loop.

Thanks for any and all help and for welcoming me to this forum.
