I've had 2 unsuccessful seasons of horseradish pickles. The pickle quality seems to be good, I just cant seem to get any heat from the horseradish. We've tried recipe's with and without sugar, horseradish strips or grinding it in FP and letting it sit before adding brine to the jars. Does anyone have any experience making these? I could use some helpful hints.
