Hello all. Newbie from a small town north and east of Grand Rapids MI. I found this site while researching to upgrade and change the way I've been smoking meat. I currently have a char broil propane vertical smoker but wanted to try something different. While seaching I found the thread on the char griller mods. I thought this would be the perfect way start. I purchased the char griller smoking pro and am working on all of the modifications and can't wait to get started. I look forward to sharing experiences with all of you. What a cool site.

BTW: GO IRISH!!!

Welcome from another Michigander.  I am planning to have some smoked leprechaun this weekend. :)  You and my father in-law would get along well as last weekend I heard all about ND while eating some BBQ.

Welcome to the forum from Lansing Knute.  And what a great forum it is to learn the art of smoking everything.

Thank you for joining the Michigan group.

We have a yearly get together and I hope you can make it next year.  We also have occasional cheese smokes here or there so if you can join in please do.
