I am looking to build a side firebox smoker using a vertical tank for the smoke chamber, would like to use square tubing to pipe the heat and smoke into the chamber and carry it out the top of the tank as a stack too. Any idea how this will work? Open to all comments and oppinions . Thanks for any help!

Square pipe will work fine as long as it is the right size. If you ask these questions in smoker build area you will get a lot more help. A lot of good folks here ready to help any time.

I see that you don't have your location on your profile. It helps others when they are trying to answer your questions. Who knows you might live just down the road from someone who has just built what you are wanting to build.

Happy smoken.
