I've been grilling for years, and just started smoking this summer.  I have a CharGriller offset smoker with the usual mods.  Doing a brisket tonight and thought I'd check out some of the threads here.  Lived in Brooklyn most of my life, but moved to NJ last year for the big yard so the neighbors wouldn't get smoked out all summer.

I've been to Brooklyn. What's a small town boy from Twin City, Georgia doing in Brooklyn? Spent a week there at the Brooklyn Navy Yard teaching a course when I was a Navy instructor. It was February, and it was freezing. It snowed every day I was there. Not the big, fluffy flakes like you see on TV either. It was little tiny flakes that kind of stung when they hit your face.

I'm glad to see you're working your way down south; although I would call NJ a baby step.
