Hello everyone!

I have dabbled in smoke cooking for a couple years on my Weber grill, with decent results.  But thanks to a sale and coupon, I got myself an early birthday present and bought a small smoker, a Masterbuilt 2 door propane.  Used it last weekend to do some ribs, and they were not too bad.  I found this site and have been browsing the forums.  Lots of good advice!  Decided I better join to make the most of it.

I am looking forward to learning a lot more about this type of cooking, and I promise to share any pictures I can get of my work (I am an avid photographer too).

Welcome to the forum from Lansing Steve.  And what a great forum it is to learn the art of smoking everything.

We have a yearly get together and I hope you can make it next year.  We also have occasional cheese smokes here or there so if you can join in please do.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, and thanks Stan for letting me know about the Michigan group.  I plan to check it out right away.  I am looking forward to doing a turkey breast tomorrow.  Wish me luck!
