Planning on putting a rack of BB ribs and a sirloin tip roast on the smoker tomorrow.

Sirloin tip roast has been rubbed down with OO and Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Plan on smoking at 225F until 135F.

I have not rubbed down the BB yet, will do that tomorrow AM.  Last time I used the 2+2+1 method, this time I will just smoke until done.

Sounds like a good plan.

Happy smoken.

Put the sirloin on at 9:15am and it was ready by 12:15, pulled it at 137F.

Smoked with cherry wood.

My new procedure is to empty the chip tray out every other load (once every two hrs) with the MES, this seems to work well.

Was going to have it for dinner...but ended up having roast beef sammies for lunch instead.

Extremely tender and juicy. I can think of no other way to serve a sirloin tip roast.

Here is a pretzel roll plated, took a bite out of it then realized I was going to post Q-View, tried to clean it up a bit

Served with a bit of horsy mayo on top.

Thanks All for the kind compliments!!

I have learned so much from this forum.  Would have never thought about smoking a sirloin tip roast before, or a pot roast.  Both turned out great!

What amazes me is just how simple it (smoking) is for the great flavor.  I can see why it is catching on so well.

Best..
