Bears smoker always looks like new, you can tell he takes pride in his smokes, smoker and his property. I'm all fired up now I need to repaint my smoker, starting in a little while. bunch of prep work to start.

Hello Bear.  Another fine how to.  I do love beef ribs, prefer them to pork ribs.  My pork steaks never make it outside.  They get floured and fried.  Love chicken fried pork steaks/chops, and of course chicken fried steak.  Something wonderful happens to the fat on a pork chop when it's fried.

OK so it's bad for me but still working on my first heart attack.  Folks this side of the pond give me funny looks when I mention "chicken fried".  Fine job on the meal and a great looking place you have there.  Keep Smokin!

Thank You Danny!!

I'm also kinda partial to when Mrs Bear pounds the Pork Steaks thin, and breads & free them!!

White cockatoos.Noisey& destructive when they feel like it.Sharpen those big beaks by chewing up cedar & pine ,solar hot water bladders etc..They chewed right through the table umbrella's pole like a beaver! They are fairly smart & fearless. Other members of the cockatoo family much better mannered.

About 50 to a 100 in that part of town. I try to feed the king parrots like the guy in my avatar but once these guys turn up well there goes the neighbourhood. I love hummingbirds my late mother (Canadian) used to talk about them.

These guys much better mannered ,will almost eat out of my hand.

Beautiful real estate, Beautiful Smoke.

Thank You Gary!!

Gotta mow again today---That'll be #20 for the season. Getting Old!

Cloudy and windy here, need to finish up smoker, probably mow tomorrow, not sure how many times, with the heat and lack of rain grass has really slowed down, I was mowing every 4 - 5 days. Got to mow my neighbors while they are gone to California to see their new grand baby.

Just got done mowing. I wasn't going to, because the grass was still wet, but I looked at the Weather predictions, and they said Thunder Storms & Showers for Friday & Saturday, and Sunday morning, and we have a big Double Family picnic at my Son's on Sunday. If I would wait until Monday, I'd have to Bale it !!!

They still eatting your tables?
They wont chew things with oil based stain or paint but...

That was the umbrella pole about 1& 1/2 inch diameter.

I am a bird lover always have been.We have some wonderful birds here particularly all the parrot types but white cockatoos are a bit harder to love.

They were popular back in the day as pets. They can be trained to talk, live forever like 50 years, but could be ornery & jealous . Rest of the cockatoo family much easier to live with.
