Hi

I am a young senior and a couple years into smoking meat and bbq. I have two eggs and a Bradley. I got Jeff's book and bought the rub and sauce recipes. I have also just recovered from a heart attack and been put on a low salt and low fat diet for life. I intend to watch my sodium and fat but I also plan to treat myself every once in a while to the good stuff. I will be looking for low sodium ideas. I am planning to try Jeff's rub with a reduced amount of kosher salt. I will read a bit before I post further.

Thanks

Ed

Forgot to mention my location. I am just outside of High River Alberta.

Welcome Ed,

I'm sure that you are not the only one out there that loves BBQ, but have to watch your salt and fat intake. Use the search bar at the top of the page, it can be your best friend. If I find any recipes with what you are looking for, I will send them your way.
