Not sure where else to post this so I put it here. I just read about folks smoking butter so I gave it a whirl today! Turned out pretty good and I only had it in for about 45 minutes. I've been reading of people smoking these items for 2+ hours!! Anyone have any experience? Also, have you found it gets better with age like cheese does?

For sure.

Both butter and cheese are high in fat.  Fat distributes flavors.

A good rest will be better than eating it too soon!

Good luck and good smoking.

How much smoke do you give to butter/cheese?
