Just dropping in to introduce myself.  I live in upstate SC and have been smoking for about 5 months on a WSM.  So far I've done beer butt chickens, bourbon brined chicken, wings, boston butts, spare ribs, beef short ribs, shredded beef, meatloaf, trout, turkey breast and honey, which I used to make ice cream.  I've been smoking something different each weekend and plan on doing a standing rib roast here soon.  I've also used a friends homemade offset smoker to do 2 9 lb butts and 6 beer butt chickens, with great success.  Hopefully someday, I'll have one too.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.

From the looks of what you've done so far, you'll probably be offering more advice than receiving any from the likes of most of us. But, in any case, isn't this stuff fun?
