Good day all! I've been lurking on this site for a few months, and decided to take the plunge and join today. :) I picked up smoking food 8 months ago after a buddy of mine bought me a Weber kettle. Ever since, I light charcoal for dinner more than my stove! This Spring I started working my way down the BBQ continuum starting with whole chickens, ribs, pork butt, and brisket. I am lucky enough to have a few friends that have been smoking for quite some time, so my learning curve has been relatively painless. With the exception of brisket (rematch pending), I have been really pleased with everything so far. Outside of cooking, I enjoy time with the family, cars, and golf.
