I've looked at so many of the builds on here, i decided i better give it a shot making my own. I've got a piece of 20" pipe, 24" long, that i'm going to use for my cooking chamber. I was planning on making 16x16x16 firebox, and double plating the top of it. All of my material for the firebox, and the RF plate, is 1/4". My question is, how big of a moon shape should i make going from the firebox into the cooking chamber? I've read on here that i should leave a lip on the bottom of the CC to prevent grease getting in the firebox. I was planning on going up 4 1/2 inches to the top of the half circle, and leaving a 1/2" lip around the bottom. Any ideas and opinions are appreciated.
Thank You Guys in advance, and i've really enjoyed looking at all you guys' builds, they look awesome
