Newbie from Cincinnati, Ohio.  After many years of all types of store bought grills giving up the ghost, I went outside my comfort zone and did a UDS.  I have yet to get it seasoned and up and running but hope to within the next week or so.  I saw this forum by chance and saw it had a wealth of information from people who love smoking low and slow.  I really look forward to learning as much as I can and appreciate you all with sharing your experiences.

You came to the right place. I joined a couple of months ago to learn how to do smoked pulled pork on my new offset smoker for the 4th. of July. It turned out great. Then chicken, again, great. Still working on ribs.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

You will love your UDS.
Happy smoken.
