Hello people...

my name is Sergio Barrella, an Italian native that has moved here to Seattle in 1986. I was a chef earlier in my life, now I am a coffee roaster. I am kind of new at smoking even if I did a little of that years ago when I used to go fish and smoke my catch. I own a new Brinkman Gourmet electric smoker ( will upgrade in a few months) and I have done  a few salmons and a couple of chickens so far... I did come up with a dry rub that I used for  grilling pork ribs that had fresh ground coffee in it among other spices, it was pretty good. Maybe someday I will incorporate it in one of my rubs for smoking. Anyway, looking forward learning from you guys, cant wait!!
