trying first brisket today

dry rubbed them last night look and smell good its only a 2lbs brisket theres only the 2 of us so its plenty big enough and done a couple of rack of ribs aswell one rubbed and one with my special sauce

woke up to this today

its a bit damp at least  no one will have there washing hung out

Hello Ewan.  :popcorn  Our U.S. members may not recognise that as brisket.  Gotta play the cards you're dealt.  I dodged rain showers myself today.  Good luck with that brisket.  Hope the rain holds off.  Keep Smokin!

its heavy showers but not too bad hard to believe it was 31 degrees last week. having seen the size of meat people on here cook it kind of puts what we can buy in the shade.

Hello.  Have a read through the link below.  We can get brisket, just not packer trim.  If you make the meet next weekend I'll be doing one.  Keep Smokin!
