Weekend Ribs and Qview

Trying out firebox mod. Drilled two 2 3/8" holes, one on each side of firebox to help it draw more air. It worked great and gave me an excuse to smoke a couple of racks of spareribs.

Two hours in and it's super easy to maintain temp with vent mods.

Got some white oak to split while I wait, if it doesn't get too hot.

Doesn't take much wood to maintain 225 degrees.

Is that thin blue smoke?

Ready to foil.

Brought them in, went back to clean the grill while it was hot, when I came back they were half gone.

What the heck were you thinking leaving ribs unattended?

Haha! You're lucky they weren't all gone.

You'd think I could trust my own family to wait while I cleaned the grill!
