Looking Great,  I have a nice pit,  but I want to build something small like that.  For those smaller meals.  Pick up some firerope and seal around the door etc and you'r set.
Yeah. It is usually just my 7yo son and I eating bbq My wife doesn't eat too much meat but she likes a smoked turkey now and then. A rack or two of ribs is all we usually need at once.

Definitely need to seal it up will stop and grab some rope.

The cook chamber is decent for what I am doing but I picked it based on the fact it was the cheapest and biggest tank I could find that was new.  I didn't want to mess with a gas tank or a used compressor tank. If there is something a little bigger I am all ears. I think the next step up would be a 100# propane tank. but that would add $100 to the cost.

So, Len I read your post and Ribwizzards and then stopped into lowes. They didn't have high temp rtv. So I got some fire block stuff. Just put it on and was reading the label again and it is not for exterior use and can't be exposed to water. So we will see how long it lasts then I will replace it with RTV if it goes bad.
