From my novice eye it looks like your firebox is a tad bit small. There are some good calculators here for determining the size if firebox and the size of openings you need.

Its a full size 20lb propane tank and the pipe going from the tank to the smoker in a 5in x 2.5 square tube steel.. I thought about putting a small blower to help push the heat over...or try bigger pices of wood but idk

From what I see if you do get it hot, the house may catch fire. Try charcoal it will burn hotter than the twigs I see.

Good Luck

Zip, evening.... Your firebox is too small and the tube connector from the FB to the CC (cook chamber) is too small......

What size is the exhaust on the drum..... What size is the air inlet on the "5 gallon" cylinder.... the FB should be about 15-20 gallon and I would use a 6" pipe to connect the 2 units.... and at least a 3" exhaust.....

Not sure about the wooden door.... 150 is about right for a wooden door.... I think you have the perfect cold smoker....

SAVE IT !!!!!!!

Now go build a warm/hot smoker and save that one for bacon / cheese and fish etc......

Now you have my 2 cents..... a dedicated cold / warm smoker is a good thing..... temps don't need to go over 150..... PERFECT.......
