For putting up with me working on the smoker so much, my wife got the first ride in the Hot Seat.
Got a lot done today. Front end finished, thermometers, and tractor seat installed. The engineer (me) is still noodling over the steering wheel design. I don't want it to hold me up so I'll weld on a handle. I want to fire it up this weekend, just need to go get some wood.
I had a plumber thread both ends of the 1 1/4" rod and I used black pipe caps to secure the wheels on.
What tractor would be complete without a PTO.
Welded on a couple of big washers on the rod for the wheels to but up to. All in all it's a lot sturdier than I thought it would be.
Got a couple other fun options to put on but I'll save that for another day.
Sorry, I couldn't wait. Had to install the headlignts.
