I've been meaning to put this post up for a couple weeks as i smoked the ham about 2 weeks ago.Prior to joining this forum I never would have thought to smoke a ham but after browsing a few posts, I decided to give it a shot of my own. I found a ham on sale at my local grocery store and rubbed it the night before, then wrapped it in plastic wrap overnight until I was ready the next day.
First coating of rub applied the night before
Rub applied, wrapped and time for the fridge overnight
Ham had a very nice color
Finished it off with a brown sugar and maple syrup glaze
