Good Morning y'all Penquin Princess (some how my last s didn't show up on my screen name and don't know how to fix that) coming to you from Sunny Florida. Joined yesterday so haven't had much time to check out everything. Looking forward to everyone's advice and expertise and maybe I will even be able to give some one of these times.

Welcome Penquin Princess- glad to see another gal joining the SMF Family-it will make the other gals on the forum happy.

There is a lot of great info to be found in this forum and plenty of folks that are willing to help you along as you learn about the art of 'low and slow'.

Well finally got a chance to come back and check out the site and was really surprised and happy to see some of you welcoming me in. Smoked my first turkey last weekend and it turned out great. I sort of took a bunch of suggestions from everyone and worked them into my recipe.

Have some friends coming down from Alabama next weekend. Anyone have an idea on what to put on the smoker? Will probably be around 10 people. I did ribs the last time they were here.

Love my smoker esp the Set It and Forget It part.

Will be looking for any suggestions y'all have to offer.

Welcome aboard, Princess!

Nice to have another gal in the forum.

We have some great gal smokers here!

Also lots of folks ready to help with any questions.

I see you did the roll call thing?  A general location in your profile would help folks to know about your climate and altitude with any questions you might have?

I look forward to your inputs to the forum!

Good luck and good smoking.
