sorry for the coloring difference on the pics..tried with and with out flash on my phone

it's been a while since i've posted anything...life has been very

every morning i grill something to take in for lunch for the wifey and myself..been playing around with a glaze i came up with and wanted to share it and get your opinions on it...

i do this the night before so the flavors can meld together in the fridge overnight

2 garlic cloves chopped finely

2 Tbls finely chopped onion

1/4 cup agave syrup or maple syrup....which ever you prefer

2 Tbls sriracha sauce ....add a 3rd if you like it spicier.....if you don't have any sriracha you can use some hot sauce of your choice

2 Tbls red wine vinegar

1 Tbls olive oil

1 tsp dry rub....if i sprinkle any rub on while i grill ill add a bit to the glaze also...this is optional

1 Tbls chopped basil

1 Tbls honey

1 Tbls of your favorite BBQ sauce

mix well and store in a air tight container overnight in the fridge

you can add, delete or change amount of anything to make it the flavoring that you like

i'll grill my items til they are almost done and put a coating on each side at least twice while ill flip them...tried this on sliced pork tenderloins, pork chops, pork steaks, chicken breast, thighs and legs..loved them all

i think this would be a great foiling sauce for ribs...need to try it in the near future

thank you for looking

tossed some pork steak and steamed some veggies in foil for lunch today..usually takes less than 30 minutes
