Having a big cook out for the 4[sup]th[/sup] of July weekend and who doesn’t want some pulled pork! Decided on a 2 pack of Boston Butts from Sams - roughly about 7 lbs each. Goth them out last night put my pork rub on for around 24hrs (Yellow mustard to coat - Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, oregano, paprika, and some dark brow sugar)

Here they are @ 4hrs on the Kamado @ 250*

Total cook time @ 9hrs for 195* - pulled and wrapped for an hour before the pull...

Finish up with a great bark and an awesome amount of smoke!!!

Here is the final product... I was going to sauce it a little , but it tasted so good, I figured if people wanted it, THEY could add it!

Happy 4th Everyone!

Great looking butts Miller! That bark looks awesome! I agree on saucing, I put out some sauce, but I find that there are a lot of people who love without sauce....personally I always add sauce to my sammie and then keep picking at the meat while its sitting in its own juice.

Cheers!

That color is fantastic, good job !!!
