I searched the site and found a few ideas. However I am not convinced smoking is appropriate cooking method for such delicate fish. Won't dry off? Won't fall apart when taken off the grates?

I caught about 12lbs of walleye recently and plan to buy more. We enjoy it a lot I just want to "diversify" the cooking.

Thanks. I saw the post when I searched for walleye. I like butter like most people but I don't want it to overpower the fish...walleye has such a beautiful taste. I can't have it swimming in butter.

I think the bacon wrap works best for this fish. Found an older post about it. I will give it a try.

About 12lbs of fish in the picture above.
