Your Dad raised his son right!

Thanks for the love and honor you gave him!

Good luck and good smoking.

Thanks so much Venture, I really appreciate the kind remarks ! I tell ya, I have the best Dad that deserves more than I can ever dream of giving back to him.... He's my father, friend & my rock when I need one...... We try to spend a lot of time together.... And I treasure every second of it.... Thanks for dropping a line !

Great looking steak and bet you Pop really enjoyed the time with you. I hope there was no ice cold beverages consumed. LOL

Great looking meal, I am sure he was amply impressed!

Thanks for dropping a line Foam, I really appreciate it ! Ya know that dang RS that Red has me hooked on just isn't quite fair... LOL. My Dad really enjoyed the steak for sure & yes, have to admit to a few ice cold beverages that were allegedly consumed, However, there is no proof of such beverages being consumed.... :laugh1: Foam, we had a great time & just reminds us that we need to do this more often.....

Hey Adam, the way I personally do them is I set my pellet grill at anywhere between 150-180*, if I start early enough it's 150*, if it's a little later then 180* ! I smoke them for bout an hour to hour & a half..... I don't flip them when in the smoker, I just let them go..... Then bout 45 min. in, I'll get a chimney of KBB going & get the Weber Kettle as hot as it'll get then when ready for the steaks..... I'll put them on the Weber for usually bout 3-4 min. a side, then pull them ! The Reverse Sear makes for a tasty steak I tell ya what..... Word of warning though, once ya do the RS, it's hard not to cook em that way every time ! They have become the fam fav way of cooking a steak. If ya need anything else, just ask..... Sorry it took me a while to get back to ya !
