Very nice! What type smoker did you use? Sorry if someone asked already I am trying this on my phone for first time..a bit lost

That first brisket was like having a baby!!! So much stress I remember it well! GREAT result for your first one though! Keep us posted on your second one and I agree with Jeff's suggestion about smoking two smaller cuts. I like to do that and experiment with a different flavor profile on the 2nd brisket. #keepsmokin'
You're not kidding about comparing it to having a baby...although my wife might argue that one! LOL

Second should be interesting, I also enjoy changing it up at every smoke. Will keep you updated. Cheers!

No kidding...I have about a half dozen smokes Under my belt, but making sure to maintain a consistant temp overnight was not easy. Actually my WSM was very good, it was the operator that was stressed out and kept looking at the IT every 15 minutes! LOL
 
I picked up the WSM last year and am getting pretty good at temp control now but it took some time. Agreed though I'd be a wreck all night haha. Going to do a much smaller brisket this Saturday
