Hello from north western Indiana. Just joined here today. I have been smoking for about 3 years. I have built everyone of my smokers. I am on number three right now. It is still in the build process. They don't look pretty but they work really really well. I am looking for new ideas and foods and the like to try out. I have attached a picture of the third smoker in the build process. One of the joys of working for a towing and recovery garage. Good trailers and tanks to use. Lol

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  Check out Jeff’s 5 day smoking E-Course ( link below ) that will help you get started.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

You are home now! LOL

Welcome to SMF! It's great to have you here. Have fun and enjoy yourself! Looking forward to reading about your future adventures with
smoking and building new rigs!

thanks for the replies.  The little tank is the fire box.  It is a 30 gallon propane tank off of a old lp tractor.  The big tank is a 500 gallon lp tank.  The trailer is an old boat trailer.  Like I said they don't look pretty but work pretty good.  I do have one dumb question as long as the meat tank is has anyone ever tried running a pipe off the heat tank and along the inside of the meat tank?
