Cooker is looking good. There is a brand of paint called pot belly stove paint it runs about 40 to 50 per gallon It holds up pretty well. They have been making `this paint for over 100 years. I have a photo of a square box cooker on here and I painted it about 10 years ago. Its starting to break down now but has held up to a lot of cooks. I found out over years of building if you can burn coals down in a barrel and spread through the cooker and bring the temp to about 150 or 200 for about 3 hrs this helps cure and bake the paint on for and longer lasting finish.
