My name is Tommy, I am a newbie to this forum, but I have been amazed at the number of threads. I have been smoking pork for about 1 1/2 years and it has became an obsession. I started with a Big Green Egg and then moved to smoking on Traegers. The reason I moved to Traegers is because I just could not cook enough pork on the BGE ( normally 40-60 pounds at a time).

I live in Lawrenceville Georgia and I am always looking and searching for new recipes and ideas. I also make my own bratwurst and breakfast sausage.

I am thrilled to get started.

Welcome to the board, Tommy! There's every stripe and color of smoker here. Settle in and look around at the information here, sounds like you've already dipped your toe.
