can I mount a GOSM to an Oklahoma Joe Highland?

I saw a pic of an offset with a vertical smoker box also. I just got a Oklahoma Joe Highland, and have a GOSM charcoal. Can I mount them together and make it work? Thanks!!

I'm no build expert but I think it would work if you make the hole connecting the two fairly large, 8+". You want  to have uniform temps in both chambers at the same time othr. A chimney on the GOSM, not just the vent, should help with draft also...JJ

Thank you! Thats kind of what I was thinking but wasnt sure the firebox was big enough to heat all of it.

It may still not be. Can you regularly get temps over 350°F? You may end up limiting the overall temp or not be uniform in both chambers. Of course you can always start in the main chamber and finish in the lower GOSM temp. Like start smoking Butts or Brisket then move to the GOSM. Boost the temp in the main to 325°F and add Chicken or Turkey. With good timing all comes out together. Insulating the GOSM would help as well. Like I said, I am no fabricator and the fire box may be too small. Run the Firebox measurements and see if it will work before the first cut...JJ

I was also thinking I could always burn more wood in the bottom of the GOSM, maybe, too.

One thing to consider is that the metal on the GOSM is pretty thin. You're going to loose a bunch of heat due to that. Also the GOSM isn't super airtight so you'll want to fix that up if you do.
