So I have had this for a few yaers now and am thinking it is time for some good mods....any one got any ideas pics suggestions what I could do to this to help keep my temp regulated and just all around a better smoker>  open to anything .....thanks a lot yall!

There are quite a few mods which are used for horizontals, but the ones I see the most are the charcoal basket, baffle plate and vent stack riser from grate-level. If temp control is an issue, you may want to use some bricks in bottom of the smoke chamber for thermal mass (rocks/stones would work, also)...that's an easy mod...may want a foil liner on top of the thermal mass to catch drippings, or a shallow pan under the meat.

Check out this search...you should find some mods specific to your smoker mixed in there with a few other models/manufacturers:

Another search, worded a bit differently:

Any questions as to what each mod does for you, just shout.

Eric
